The house is situated only a mile from the River Spey, famous for its fine salmon fishing, and from the Speyside Way, a long distance walking and cycling route which links the Cairngorms to the Moray Coast. Cardhu Country House is a former manse, which has been lovingly restored to offer luxurious accommodation over three floors. Contemporary en-suite bathrooms have been added to the six spacious bedrooms. Public rooms boast open fires, and our food is freshly prepared in our kitchen using only the finest local ingredients. Known for its wealth of wildlife such as ospreys, seals & dolphins. This self-catering hostel is a conversion of the former village school which provides the following: Two dormitories of 5 bunk beds (Sleeping 10 people) The Mates Cabin. A private room that sleeps up to 2 people. The Captains Suite. A small family room with en suite bathroom to sleep up to 4 people. The Lobster Pot. This is a modern studio with 4 bunk beds and a fold away Double bed. It features a mini kitchen and a private bathroom suitable for disabled use.
